Meir Modiin is a warm, diverse, and growing community in the heart of Modi’in.

 

Around 20 years ago, we began as a small minyan of about 20 families. Since then, the community has grown into a vibrant congregation of more than 120 families from across Israel and around the world. Longtime Israelis alongside families from many different countries all find a sense of home here.

 

We are an Orthodox synagogue open to everyone: religious, traditional, and secular. A community where families from different backgrounds pray, learn, celebrate, and grow together. Whether you are looking for a meaningful spiritual home, new friendships, or simply visiting family in Modi’in and searching for a warm atmosphere and a great Kiddush, you are always welcome here.

 

Over the years, we prayed almost everywhere imaginable: in a public garden, a classroom, a hallway, and even a café. In 2013, we moved into our current home at Mishkan Gershon, where we have continued to grow together as a community.

 

Meir Modiin is much more than a synagogue. It is a community that shares life together. When a baby is born, meals arrive at the family’s door. When someone is called up for reserve duty, the community rallies around their family. When support is needed, people show up.

 

Located in a central area of Modi’in, the community serves families from across the city and continues to welcome new faces every year.
